Beautiful tabletops or just dirt-magnets?

Glass tabletops look beautiful ... but it's the high maintenance needs that put me off. This interesting table is for sale at one of the shops next to High Tea in Plumstead - but it was covered in dust and finger-prints, reminding me why it's not ideal for a low-maintenance lifestyle.
Neat shot! I like the idea of glass tables in theory, but in practice, I agree with you!

Oh I like this table, but I'm with you about the maintenance. I'd need to get a maid to own it! :)

I LOVE that table with the tree coming up! I totally agree about the glass tabletops. Then again there are a lot of things I won't have in my house because of the maintenance. Black appliances look beautiful but they show fingerprints and dust more than light colored ones.

I think you are right - my motto "a house unkempt is better than a life unlived" - glass table tops don't fit with that!! However, the tree in the middle is like a sculpture.

depends on how many little sticky fingers live in your house ..lol... but it is very different

I once "inherited" one. It was the first thing I left behind when we moved.
