Oh I was there a few years ago - it was just perfect! I have a postcard from this exact beach hanging on my wall - brings back good memories :) We even swam at the beach - really cold!
@photogirl@cmt2812 You are so right. This group had been lurking at one side of the breach behind some boulders, and wanted to get to the other side of the beach. But a little girl kept running up to them and they'd dash back behind the rocks. Mommy then took the little one away and the penguins decided to move quickly. These birds are totally wild, but very accustomed to people, so are very savvy about keeping away from little hands that may (usually unintentionally) hurt them.
