I see you got your gorilla tripod ... no more balancing acts for you! (well, your camera, anyway!) This a wonderful, creative worm's eye view!

This looks scary to me too but I'm a bit jumpy today after close encounters with a metre long goanna in our garden and a half metre water dragon at a coffee shop!

Great shot Elizabeth! Very creative!

Yay! You got it! How is it working for you? I still need to order mine... =P One more thing on my To Do list. LOL!
April 23rd, 2010
Kinda makes me think it looks like a tarantula.......I really need to get me one of those things...
April 23rd, 2010
I just got mine in the mail too. Didn't have time to use it though. I am having a major computer crises and am only sporadically on this site right now.

How very catipillar-esque! We've all read of your saga to get a tripod, so how lovely to read (and see) that the mail arrived (quite quickly!) and you're a proud new owner! Seeing yours makes me think I might consider getting one if I think it suits my needs. Looks a lot lett cumbersome than the whole big tripod business!

Well, that's fun! Delighted for you!

beautiful colours...love the background!

Nice shot. Happy that you finally have your gorilla pod. But we will all miss your description of how you balance your camera to get your self portraits. Now that you have it maybe we should do another week of self portraits. :-)
April 23rd, 2010
Hehe, this made me laugh. :-)
April 23rd, 2010
Beautiful background - great "action" shot.

A "sunny" Goodnight to you, dear friend!

Sorry Elizabeth.I forget that so much of our Aussie wildlife is unique. My definition of a 'goanna' is: a snake with legs. My little Westie dog was taking this goanna on and it was a fair fight. My brave husband scooped up the goanna in a net and released it down the street.

Ahhh, good...I've met with my minister and I can turn in now :-)

Thanks for understanding my quirky choice! Good night!
