Journey south

photo 200
Actually the view is looking north, but this is the road I take each week as Liz and I journey from our home in the lakes down to the family in the Midlands. It''s a 5 hour journey, but this first hour and a half through the Lake District National Park is a pleasure.

Today was misty, but the sun penetrated just a little, so it was on for a shot.

I want to get my flask out and my walking shoes already. I might wait until a clearer day but the urge is definitely there. I'm sorry, I'm not a hot weather person at all. There's something so us, when we have a damp overcast day.
