A Time for Reflection

A view of one of the pools in the Clint Quarry Nature Reserve. I went with a view to trying out some macro work, but either due to a lack of subjects (my choice) or a lack of imagination (more likely choice), I came back with just a few views of the quarry. This was a long exposure to get rid of the gentle ripples.
A wonderful capture snd great reflections, fav!

Very tranquil, my Grandma used to live by Clints and we used to go and collect tadpoles there every spring!

It must be lovely to be able to enjoy such a beautiful area by yourself. Did you try capturing macro images of moss or grass seeds?

A long exposure gets rid of ripples? I would have thought it showed more of them. You live and learn on this project! Nice shot

@merrelyn I do quite a lot of macro at Clint Quarry but usually flowers and insects. I should look more closely at the mosses etc. There are lots to choose from.
