Our boat trip up the Gambia River took us to Chimpanzee Island (Baboon Island). Timed for us to arrive around feeding time. The chimps live a completely wild life, fending for themselves, but there is a backstop (I feel I shouldn't use that word at the moment in UK) in case chimps are unable to find food.
