Cape Range is a national park in Western Australia. It is the only elevated plateau composed of limestone on the North West Coast.
The area was declared a national park in 1964, the off-shore area, Ningaloo Marine Park (famous for its annual gathering of whale sharks) was declared in 1987.
Within the park boundaries a major attraction is Yardie Creek. This is a spectacular gorge where the water is trapped by a sandbar.
Fauna found within the park include rock wallabies, red kangaroos, emus, euros (I thought this was only a monetary unit), 100 different species of bird, 80 species of reptile and echidnas, of which I took countless photos.
Graham, I'm continually surprised by the interesting variety of landscapes you've captured, environments I never knew existed in Australia. Your work really represents what 365 is about.
I agree with @C Stewart Graham. This is an amazing capture of a place within Australia, which I have never seen and I have no idea what a euro is (outside of a monetary unit). This really represents the thousands of years of pre white occupancy of Australia. This looks so serene and tranquil. It reminds me a lot of Katherine Gorge in NT.
This is really stunning, love the reflection! You pictured it perfectly! I think it's hard to keep the dept in the picture, but you are really amazing with that!
