Unusual and/or 'different' architectural designs always fall prey to my trigger finger. At first I thought this was a Frank Gehry design, but no. Mariano Deuonni designed the Roma Mitchell Law Courts building in Adelaide. This $96 million building has 22 courtrooms and opened in 2006.
The circular Opal is clad in partinated copper, and the sandstone and soft coloured materials are designed to blend into the natural surroundings and which is the nearby Victoria Square in central Adelaide.
