Day # 27-Awesome-August Challenge -"I'll Tightroap for Food!!!"

This week in the Awesome -August Challenge we are supposed to take pictures of the things we will miss the most or not miss as the Season comes to the end..I am currently in The Summer Season here in P.A. and i cant think of anything i will not miss !! Even these pesky squirell's are loads of entertainment when you are alone all day!!! I am heading back to Texas the first week in September so most of my shot's will be of things that i will miss..and as most of you know i have watched a whole family of squirell's be born and grow up right outside my front door in this big oak tree. This is the MaMa and by the looks of it , she has had another litter here recently and is out scouting around for dinner.
I just happened to have caught her early this morning climbing down the roap that leads to the Birdfeeder that hangs right below her head , from this tree! She is a very talented tight roap walker and didnt miss a step!! I believe these critters will do anything for Food!! :)

They drive me crazy! But they don't leave for warmer climates during winter, so the little buggers don't even give you a chance to miss them! (Not that I would!) Cute shot Ellen!
Instant fav.......talk about good timing! We have squirrels year round unfortunately ;-) But you have to admit, they're cute and provide such terrific photo ops.
@cimes1 I just had to thank you for your fav and your great comment..i usually dont come on here in the morning because i am either sleeping or taking a walk and taking photo's..today it was the latter..i have to tell you i have already ran into that same squirell and this time he was sliding down the tree branches on a big branch that he was dragging back to his nest ( he must have cut it off with its big sharp teeth!! ) So im standing there laughing at him and as he was trying to stuff the huge branch into his little whole he lost his grasp on it and it fell to the ground! i swear he stood up and cussed!! I have never seen anything like it! i really thought he was going to loose it as he was sliding down the tree! Thay are just amazing critters!! And then i go down this path i like to venture down here in the park and right in front of me is this snake! i retreated this time ! i took a few snaps but i was really afraid!! Ill have to post him later..anyway..thank you for stopping bye and of course again thank you for your fav! :)
I know for a fact there is no such thing as a squirrel proof feeder - they will go to any lengths to get food. I love watching their antics. This is a wonderful shot of her on a mission! And I laughed aloud reading your commentary about today's squirrel activities. People who don't enjoy them really miss a lot of smiles. Have a wonderful trip to Texas.
@ellimae LOL!!! I enjoyed reading about his antics. I think I have seen everything with our squirrel gang in the last 15 yrs. They come and go, but are always so entertaining. I am only on the computer in the AM usually, as early as possible. Hey, thanks for the fav on our anniversary photo, too.
Wonderful capture of her...have babies to fee, you have to eat for yourself too! Today's antics sound hilarious. I've never seen them drag a branch anywhere!
