Some may wonder why I don't talk much. Words aren't everything, although they are precious and we should use them wisely. Words just don't have the capability of saying everything that needs said. I prefer to speak through music. Music is a whole language in itself. I think, the most simple, yet complex language to learn, and one that is never truly understood by anyone. Music plays on your emotions. A long haunting melody sends a chill through you, while the simplest tune can make you smile. Music is beautiful. It is an art, just like photography. I love photography. (Don't you? Well of course, that's why you're here.) Capturing that one moment in time. It's breathtaking. You will never live that exact moment in time ever again. No two sunrises or flowers or raindrops are ever the same. And when you take that picture, you forever capture the memory of that exact moment in time. But what is time exactly? Some may wonder if time is the enemy. It chases us, wears us down. We try to escape it. But eventually in the end, time wraps us in its loving arms and takes us home to God where we belong. And then what does the life we've left behind become, but a single memory?
Well at least, those are my thoughts. Just a ramble =) And 100th photo.
@elmatia223 I have a new found respect for pianist.. Because im slowly, VERY slowly, learning to play.... And its hard >.<
so you got some mad skillz(:
@samantherzz It takes lots of time to learn piano! I wish you luck =) It's such a beautiful instrument, and useful to know too. I've been playing for almost 8 years now, so it certainly takes LOTS of time =)
Beautiful shot and words for your 100th photo!!! Congratulations... And if you play Fantasy Impromptu, you're a piano artist, too!!! That's a beautiful piece of music, and not easy...
@elmatia223 I am not a pianist--but my older daughter and my sister are. My sister learned this piece when she was about 17, and it's still one of my favorites!!! I remember being so proud of her... :-) I'm sure you will get it learned!!!
Well said Emily! And you found the perfect piece to go with it. Fav! I actually think of Music as my native tongue and am often more eloquent through my piano than through my words. And of course, Chopin is right up there with Beethoven, Liszt and Rachmaninoff as my favorite composers...despite the fact that his Scherzo No. 2 is taking me waaaay longer than I thought it would. Ah piano...a lifelong endeavor. :-)
You play piano?
so you got some mad skillz(:
Great shot and explain
@cannibalcarrots This sheet music is to Chopin's Fantasy Impromptu op. 66 =)
