Fellow photographers waiting with their tripod to capture the beauty of the setting sun. Dingli Cliffs had more than one tripod set up yesterday. This was one of them. I read somewhere that the human condition is built to recognise beauty. Beauty can open the hearts and minds of those who experience it to something beyond themselves.
Fantastic capture of this gorgeous sunset coupled with the silhouetted scene. Fav. My memory of St George's Bay is very similar to your dad's. I had a canvas kayak, too, but I paddled with a friend his kayak from The Ferries in Sliema to St George's Bay in rough October weather. My friend wanted to store his kayak in a relative's boat house at that bay. It was an experience I will never forget.
