After Holy Mass today I just had to take at least one picture of this majestic Baroque style church dedicated to Saint George in Victoria Gozo.
Someone had just switched off the main lights so I took two photos at different apertures (no tripod in spite of the low speed and at 200 ISO) with exposures for the lower part and a second to get the colours of the stained glass windows. Then stacked the exposures in Gimp.
Apologies to all Victoria townsfolk if the picture does not give credit to the real beauty of the church.
@casablanca@jgpittenger@edorreandresen@sangwann@jaffacake@kork@rebejer Thank you so much for your comments. You are all welcome to visit. The Basilica's parishioners will welcome you with open arms as they are so proud of their church. Since I took this photo I've learnt that the church is called the Golden Basilica by the Georgians (as the patron Saint is St George).
