The main street leading to the square in front of the church dedicated to the nativity of Our Lady in Ix-Xagħra, Gozo. These are the "pavaljuni" which are the banners used for decoration across the street. Although the festive atmosphere was somewhat subdued, I was kind of shocked and disappointed to see what I perceived as little or no adherence to the health protocols against Covid.
Gorgeouss capture Leli. We all have missed the celebrations of local festas. I have missed the beautiful fireworks. My sister has a second residence in Xagħra but I don't think they were there for the festa.
