Had a lazy day today but aquired myself a copy of lightroom :) I knew it was coming so shot everything out at the beach the other day in RAW so today was all about playing with my new programme, amazing! maybe i should post the before of this photo. I ended up using 3 different programmes on it, lol :)
i have got myself behind in viewing now! sorry folks, I will have to catch up in the next couple of days.
Love the shot! I use Lightroom all the time, love the program. It seems to be people either "get it" or not, that it either works for them as a timesaver or they don't like the whole processing side of things. I love it and photoshop, love playing around with pictures.
Fantastic shot! I saw we have been assigned into a team for the get pushed challenge. I will try to have a closer look at your pics hopefully tomorrow but have a busy day - so Tuesday at the latest I will 'push' you :)
@traeumerlein Hi Lisa :) yes I have just started my crazy Monday! I will look thru your stuff later today and you might have a challenge by the time you wake up or a bit later :)
Okay, so her comes your challenge. I love your colourful and bright album because I like bright things.
For this week I would like you to try a more dreamy and soft feel in a picture (either through post processing, white balance, subject). Have fun!
@traeumerlein oohh, ok, nice challenge, i do admire other peoples soft dreamy shots but im not sure how to pull it off so i shall have to do some research :) thanks :)
@emjay8 whenever I have attempted to create that feeling I found it easier to shoot soft colours with soft backgrounds and then adding a layer and maybe enhancing brightness or making exposure longer. I use the 'tranquil' filter in picmonkey a lot for those purposes. Also, I think you can just ask people what they did in a particular shot that you like.
