15th January 2014

Blue… day 3.

Blue doors of Teddington.

A montage of blue doors around the town. It was really interesting to see the different styles, many of which are the original Edwardian and Victorian wooden doors of the houses.
What a great idea. Love it!

LOVE this Emma. What do you use to do your collage?

@jantan @tristansmum @annemary Thank you all, expect to see similar montages on other colour weeks!! @oconnor71 I use PicMonkey ( http://www.picmonkey.com), it is free unless you want some of the fancier designs and you can change the layout and drag frames to resize pics. @taz_o Absolutely right! I toured Watts Lane, Cedar Road and Cambridge Road and Crescent to find doors.

@emmadurnford Thanks Emma, that looks good. Will give it a go.

I agree, Picmonkey is the easiest way to do collages I think.

In the late eighties I used to live in Wades Lane which I think is the one next to Watts Lane - small world init?

Jo
Like what you've done here, might store that idea away for another day!

Love this sort of montage - mixing up different styles of a very ordinary thing, a front door.
