24th January 2014

It is exactly a month since Christmas Eve. I thought I'd have a play with my new light-box and conveniently found these skeleton holly leaves under the bush in our back garden. They are so delicate and the light-box makes it so much easier to show the detail in them.

Future projects will include glass and maybe thinly sliced vegetables - how exciting my life sounds!
Look forward to more light box shots! ~ this is amazing Love it

I put together a rough light box with white cardboard and found it is just right for great photographs like this one!

@alisonp @axika @taz_o @tristansmum Thank you all for the comments and 'faves'. @maggiemae I am sure your light box is just as good and probably a lot cheaper! They are fun so I think I may be having another go this evening as the weather has been dire all day and now it's dark!!

I love this! Fav

I tried to make a light box some time ago - not v successful! Where did you get yours from?

@jantan Thank you for the 'fave'. I'll admit to not making it! It was a Christmas pressie from Colin. It is A2 although you can get them in A4 and A3 from Amazon. I like it as it seems close to a daylight bulb in light.
