28th April 2014

These are the green shoots of my Christmas tree which always sprouts these bright green spines at this time of year.

Colin gave me this tree back in 1999 in a pot to have in my flat. It was about just one foot high and my decorations weighed its branches down… when we got married and I moved to Teddington I brought it with me and planted it in the back garden. It took a while to flourish… it's now almost 20 feet tall!!
Wow - an eternal Xmas tree! How special and nice that it is so healthy!

Lovely color in those branches and a nice story to go with it.

Love the fresh green in this. What a great gift from Colin, and how wonderful that it is flourishing.
