3rd July 2014

What a beautiful day to have a meeting at the Octagon Gallery at Orleans House. I was collecting specially printed brochures publicising events across the Borough commemorating the start and duration of the First World War.

I am responsible for organising, promoting, hanging ad running a photographic exhibition in October and I was pleased to see it appears at the front of the brochure - good advertising! The theme is 'Conflict and Remembrance'… I'm still waiting for entries but the closing date is not until the 15th of September so fingers crossed I'll be deluged before then!
Hello Emma, greetings from Edmonton Canada. I came across this on the browse page and I have to say what a fabulous looking building

Beautiful building, and I like the framing effect of the trees. The exhibition sounds very interesting, and I know that if you are in charge of it, it will be great!

Is the exhibition at Orleans Gallery? I work at Orleans Park School and the kids have been working with the gallery on this theme. How fascinating. What photos are you looking for? I shall definitely visit. Is it in Stables or Main Gallery? Great to see local photographers.
