A group of cranes is called ‘a sedge’. This ‘sedge’ is located at Victoria where there is currently lot of redevelopment taking place! We were up in town to hear the London Philamonic Orchestra play Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto in C Major (the music from ‘Brief Encounter’) at the Royal Festival Hall... it was excellent.
I really like this - and the information that they are called a sedge - I can use that

I love their red colour and the way they seem to be leaning in toward each other. And thanks for the info about the sedge, I had no idea! Emma, I'm so sorry, I didn't see your earlier email message. That account gets so swamped with 365 notifications that sometimes I miss things.
