The reflections were stunning on the Basingstoke Canal near Fleet and only disturbed when these two kayakers paddled through.

I was with @NicolaEastwood, @Padlock and friends and our respective other halves for a delicious lunch which we had to walk off along the canal (alternative was to fall asleep in the pub). It has featured on @NicolaEastwoods page and for me it was toss up as to whether I would post a picture of a American Signal Crayfish instead - we came across a man who was emptying pots of them which he had caught in the canal. He had collected literally kilos of them and can sell them for a lot of money. They are invaders which unfortunately are forcing the UK native crayfish out. Therefore the canal won out over the crayfish!

Stunning shot! Love the reflections and the blue canoes just set it off nicely

What a lovely place--a great place for kayaking I would think, and one can still see enough of the reflections to realise how beautiful they are.
