23rd December 2014

This is the final view I had of Penzance as I started off on the 300 mile journey back to Teddington for Christmas. I was very sorry to go and the clouds reflect my mood as I left. This is quite different to last year when the storms were starting to whip up and over January and February much of the prom was destroyed by the massive waves.

Here's the view a year ago and a week later on the 30th of December 2013… http://365project.org/emmadurnford/365/2013-12-30
Winter is the best time to see the ocean -- the crowds are gone and the sand and sea are yours. I like the stormy feeling and muted colors. Fav

A beautiful view, no wonder you were sad to leave. Hope the journey back was better than the one there.
