Continuing my theme of red, here is the station post box at Teddington station. It is an 'Elizabethan' post box - the most recent although we have Victorian and Georgian ones around the town.
For a moment there, I envisioned a post box in a starched ruff and tights. I do like the way something so useful can also be so pretty, unlike our mail boxes here.
