12th March 2015

Here is my excuse for not always taking the most creative of photographs recently! This is what just over one and a quarter thousand greeting cards looks like. I don't think it looks that much here on the spare room sofa bed but believe me, it felt like that number as I had to hand fold each one, package it in a cello and add a bar code sticker.

These cards and four 'made to order' display spinners are destined for four of my Waterstones shops where I already have some cards on sale. I have had a number of 'display' issues over the years and so I have bitten the bullet and invested in my own display units to showcase every card in my range, including my new 'Icons of London' collection.

Now comes the interesting bit of delivering the spinners to the shops and stocking them all up. I have made plans of the order of cards and also some fancy header boards… fingers crossed it all goes to plan.
Wow

I'm just very impressed that you have done all of this! Best of luck selling a lot of them!

@danette @pamknowler Thank you both - I actually started to dislike the cards as I was looking at them so much! Another spinner goes out this morning so we are gradually getting our spare room back again.

There is something very exciting about seeing all these cards stacked up. They make me think of your great achievement in taking the pictures and the hard work of folding and stuffing represented here, and of the people who are going to buy them and enjoy them. Congrats, absolutely a fav for me.
