This weekend seems to be the busiest in the calendar for Teddington. Earlier in the day it was the Teddington Pram race - a great event in which teams dress up and race from the Masons Arms pub all the way to the finish in Udney Park gardens, stopping at a number of pubs on route. The prams are all sponsored and the event normally raises a good amount for local charities. I work with a chap who makes videos so I am responsible for the photos of the start of the race - which this year was wet!
Luckily it dried up in the afternoon when we headed over to Bushy Park for the Hanworth classic car show and dancing. This is another event that I am asked to photograph for both the car club and Shooting Star CHASE the hospice that the fundraising is for. These are two of the dancers from the group Everything’s Jumpin’ - a brilliant group who dance, often in vintage outfits.
