15th January 2016

Today was very busy. I had a meeting in the morning where I took an order for two A3 prints of some of my Bushy Park sunrise photographs taken last winter. Then I dropped Colin over to the physio before heading off for my third job for London Stone, driving around the M25.

This was a challenging job and it took me over 3 hours to photograph a group of people visiting a stone masonry factory. The images are to be used in the company brochure and on the website. There was about three different sorts of lighting which challenged my white balance settings and as the visitors did not arrive until mid afternoon, the natural lighting was rapidly going. I had taken my flash but as I was some distance away from the group I found it preferable to rely on upping the ISO. This is one of the stone masons at work before the visitors arrived.
This is a great capture, so well composed and with such interesting activity and lots of good texture. Fav for me. Sounds as if you had your work cut out for you today.
