20th April 2016

I was in London today to try and get my London card outlets back on line. There has been a lot of churn in the chain of shops so I haven’t been totally on the case. However, I took an order and am revisiting branches next week. In the process by sheer chance I was in the right place at the right time. Trafalgar Square was closed to traffic by royal ‘outriders’.

Within a few minutes there was an amazing procession of the ‘Freedom of the City of London Ceremony’ passing through Trafalgar Square performed by the Household Cavalry. It was great to see both the Blues & Royals and the Life Guards in full ceremonial dress and the horses looking spectacular. This ceremony has not happened for many years so I was really lucky to be in the right place at the right time!
Great perspective
