20th May 2016

Last minute packing, delivering my print to Orleans House and collecting an important commission. I’m hoping that my sister will not be looking at my 365 Project (don’t think she will be!) as I went to collect her wedding present that I commissioned Christina - a ceramacist in Richmond - to make.

She has made a beautiful cobalt blue (Hester’s favorite colour) set of pottery. There are two dinner plates, two side plates, two bowls, two mugs, a little jug, two little bowls for dips and finally a large bowl with the initials H&B (for Hester and Brian) along with the date of their wedding on the surface. I am really pleased with Christina’s work. This is her studio which is built into one of the arches next to the Thames, it’s a lovely space and I’m looking forward to seeing Hester and Brian’s face when they see their present.
Love the pov in this. That sounds like a truly wonderful and unique wedding present!
