After a day of washing and putting all our holiday things away, we headed out to have a look at the Lock. We walked through the Manor Road Recreation Ground and found this lovely display of daisies. Two years ago the same part of the ‘rec’ was planted with poppies to commemorate the beginning of the first world war and ever since this area has been maintained as a wildflower meadow.
