29th August 2016

Bank Holiday Monday. Normally we don’t do much on the August bank holiday as everywhere is so busy and the roads are paced. Today I finally got to meet up with my friend Sarah and we decided we would go to Greenwich on my suggestion as I wanted to see the Travel Photographer of the Year exhibition. It was excellent as usual and I got to chat with the founder of the exhibition although I did not know who he was at the time.

We had a brilliant day, mostly laughing, especially over lunch for all the wrong reasons. The weather was lovely and the temperature just right. We even got to see a large Asian wedding at the old naval college which culminated in releasing lots of white doves.

These were two of a total of three stretched Hummers and a double decker bus to transport guests. Storm clouds were gathering but the sun kept shining.
