An interesting day as I discovered that I had actually partially dislocated a bone in my foot a couple of weeks ago which explains the pain I have been in. The podiatrist I saw managed to manipulate it back in and now I am sporting an attractive strapping on my foot.
The day got better later on as Colin cooked our traditional Valentine's meal of roast duck with homemade orange sauce. I cheated and bought the starter and dessert. These are the delicious roast carrots, parsnips and potatoes that accompanied our duck.
