It is not Chris's birthday until the 15th next week but we thought that we had better deliver his presents direct to his home… we gave him a wheelbarrow amongst other things! I have tied lots of ribbons to the handles and Chris is banned from removing them until his birthday.
We went to an excellent pub called the Kingfisher right next to the river just over Chertsey bridge. The food was very good and best of all, it was so mild that we were able to sit outside for the first time this year (Madeira does not count as it is a different country).
