14th April 2017

It's Good Friday and as there isn't a meeting of 'Fat Fighters' this morning, my friend Sarah and her daughter came to Teddington. We went to my photo club exhibition at the Landmark Centre and then for lunch at Girasole in the High Street. I had hoped to treat us all to lunch at the Fallow Deer which despite being the most popular cafe in Teddington, is threatened with closure by the London borough of Richmond! However as this was absolutely packed with supporters, we headed next door. Big Mistake! We waited for over half an hour just for a wrap, omelette and ciabatta and when the order eventually arrived mine was not there and when it turned up it was the wrong order! Explains the empty tables.

Afterwards I had to rush off for my third and final stewarding session at the Landmark Centre. I was looking after the shop and unlike last time it was very busy and we took nearly £150 over the day.
