11th June 2017

We started to clear the living room today ready for our massive decorating session which starts tomorrow. In the afternoon we visited St Mary's church in Teddington which is organising celebrations of the 800th anniversary of the town. It was lovely to hear hand bell ringers in the church, see the floral displays and then enjoy tea and cake (well Colin did!) in the church yard afterwards.

We headed on to the river where Colin had an ice cream at the 'Flying Cloud' cafe (he's obviously not participating in my diet!) and bumped into friends on the way back from a stroll around the lock.
