It was a bit of a sad evening as I had to clean out Washington Hamster (which he hates) ready for his visit to my friend Sophie. She will be looking after Washington during our trip to Australia and as she is away as well for a week her Mum is stepping up to look after him and all of her pets.
Sophie is a head veterinary nurse and loves animals. I am sure Washington will have a great time and be thoroughly spoilt during his stay! You can just about see him downstairs by his house looking in disgust at the clean sawdust and bedding!
