From a frosty sunny day to a frosty cloudy day. We got ready early in the morning to head over to Bushy Park and literally just as I was scraping the frost off the car the plumber called to say he could come early to fix our shower so it was back to the house and thermals off! Despite a quote for one hour of time and the parts, needless to say the job actually took 2.75 hours and £515 later it was fixed. I am just not thinking about the amount. We'll sort everything after Christmas!
After the aborted start we headed out for the second time later in the afternoon on our annual, slightly illegal, mistletoe collecting expedition. We only take a little and have our favourite Hawthorn tree. Colin took a knife but unfortunately trod on it and broke it in his efforts to hide the crime!
Despite all of this we got a lovely piece for us, Chris and a little piece for Mum as well.
