5th January 2018

This is our lovely Christmas tree in it's central position in our newly decorated living room for the first time.

It's Twelfth Night tomorrow so this is the last night that the lights will be on. It is really sad as this is one of the best shaped trees that we have had in recent years and apart from a little bit of droop it has lasted very well despite being positioned in from of the radiator.

Earlier in the day I popped into Card Collection to collect unsold Christmas cards and the good news is that I've sold more than last year - 345 in total. We also discussed some of my ideas for a new range of cards I am hoping to create later in the year.

In the afternoon our friend Anne came over for tea to discuss her trip to Spain in September when we hope to join her and Richard for a few days in the villa they are hiring. We are also planning our own trip to Northern Spain in late April/May.
