Snow - hooray!

We woke to very low temperatures and sun. There was not quite as much snow as I wanted but it was too good an opportunity to miss so we threw on our Arctic outfits with thermals and hand warmers completing our kit and headed out to Richmond via Teddington footbridge (not enough snow).

The R68 took it’s time on the snowy roads but we made it up Richmond Hill by 8.00am although to be honest as I had feared there was not enough. This is the sort of view I wanted for my Christmas cards as my summer photo of the same view is one of my best selling cards. However, there is simply not enough snow, it’s a lovely view anyway. I have cropped it in a square format as all my Christmas card range is in a square format. I have four ideas for cards but none of them worked today, not enough snow and too low sun which cast long shadows.

I am hoping for more snow although I am possibly the only person in the country wishing for that.
