Quick bit of tidying around today as Hester is coming this evening to stay for a couple of nights on her way back ‘oop North’ from teaching on the south coast in Bognor Regis.
The tree man came today (after a couple of weeks trying to get people in) to assess my Christmas tree that has gone rather berserk and grown as tall as the walnut tree. He thinks it should be a quick job to takeout down. I am really sad but it is simply too big for the garden and has started to impinge on the Walnut tree. I glanced up at our Walnut tree on my way to the shops and it is looking lovely in full leaf - can you spot our two ‘woodies’ shelling from the sun in the middle of the tree?
