What a difference a day makes, we woke to bright sun and a hot day. Ellie, Nick and respective partners headed off early in the morning to Barcelona for the last few days of their holiday.
We spent the morning around the pool and all headed down to the beach in the afternoon. What a change from the azure clear blue sea of Tuesday. The beach shape had totally changed with the sand washed away in places. The sea was calmer but no longer clear... despite this we still went for a swim and it was surprisingly warm. Many of the shops and restaurants had duck boards up as they are clearly used to the autumn floods. The shops have started to close as apparently this is now the end of the season despite being a Thursday.
Later in the evening we got a taxi to a rather posh restaurant that Ann and Richard had been to earlier during their break. This is a selfie we took on the beach!
