Today we finished our packing ready for our trip to Berlin tomorrow. We headed to the annual Sparkle show which I had a stand at last year. I had hoped that I may be able to get some presents from there as they would be more creative and original than from the shops but unfortunately this year it really was not so good and although there were a lot of nice things there was nothing in particular that caught my eye.
Afterward we headed down to the lock to see the last day of the ‘draw off’. Low tide was not until after 5.00 but as it would have been dark then we went earlier. This is the very still Thames upstream from the lock.
