Today I was mostly cooking and forgot take a photo of what I actually made. I baked a cake for my photo clubs Christmas social in the evening and also a batch of mince pies for Colin’s golf function tomorrow. I add orange zest and cinnamon to the pastry and a teaspoon of brand in each one to make it especially warming.
This is actually the menu of a new Lebanese restaurant in Teddington which we are looking forward to trying.
My Christmas social went well and there was some lovely food. The new cutlery I bought earlier in the year also went down very well and this year Colin did not break three forks as he did last year!
