It’s Saturday - it’s Bushy Park Run day! Just me today as Colin’s knee is bad and he didn’t want to aggravate it. It was pretty nippy and this seems to be a bit of a problem as I need to slow down and had to briefly walk twice which impacted on my time down to 28 minutes.
I took it easy for the rest of the day in preparation for the evening ahead. It was Charley’s 18th birthday a couple of weeks ago and thus evening is her party, most of which will be a total surprise to her. I know the running order and all the events as the party planner has given me a list so that I can my work in the evening and not miss any of the events. I was the driver for the evening and we drove via Chertsey to collect Chris and Mouse. We eventually arrived at Westerham Golf Club at about 6.15 for me to take the pre party set up shots before the event itself.
It was an amazing evening with an Abba tribute band, a DJ, roast dinner buffet followed by pizza and chips later on, games room with adult ball pool, photo booth to name but a few and a crepe van outside. There were two massive bouncers more for show than security and a four tier elaborate cake. The evening did not finish until 1.00am and bit he time I had driven back via Chertsey we eventually made it to bed at about 3.00am.
