Since picking up our new car on Tuesday we have been somewhat reluctant to actually take it out for a drive! We put that right today as we first headed over to Silvermere Golf Club to pick up some vouchers for Ian and then afterwards drove onto Karen’s house as we have not seen her since she went to America. I drove ‘outbound’ and it is very nice although the ‘flight deck’ gadgets take some getting used to and the built in SatNav stopped showing the route and was operating on voice only for half the journey.
I drove it again to Karen’s and took these pics of all the spring flowers in her garden. We managed to get home in time for me to hurriedly make dinner (despite very heavy traffic) and then I headed back out again in the Astra this time for my photo club meeting in Kew.
