17th May 2019

The day after the night before and I didn’t feel too bad considering nobody else was drinking the red wine on the table. There was a good cooked breakfast buffet and we killed a couple of hours wandering around the hotel chatting before getting a taxi back to the station. We seemed to go on the pretty route this time and the fare was double.

Unfortunately our train had been cancelled so it was a dash to a different platform for the next fast train. It was quite crowded but we managed to find a table with just one woman sat there. Over the course of the journey we were all chatting and in the end we helped her get to her final destiny of Esther as she only started travelling on trains a few weeks ago! I also helped a man at Vauxhall station who’s dog made it through the ticket barriers but he did not so I looked after his dog until he came through - I’m so helpful!

The weather had got cold and grey but the time I got back to Teddington and as my only other photo from today was this mornings breakfast buffet I am showcasing our walnut tree - again!
