30th June 2019

The temperature was a lot more pleasant today in the mid 20’s. This Sunday in June is always filled with events in the area. I am not sure why there is not more co-ordination between groups - there is the Pram Race, Teddington Summer Fair and the Hanworth Car Rally at Bushy Park. I normally go to Bushy Park as I enjoy the event and I also photograph the dancing and the cars for Nic and Mike who organise the event and they are used by Shooting Star Hospice and the car club for future publicity.

Despite Nic’s nod and wink that this year was no bigger than previous years - this is the tenth year at Bushy Park - it was the biggest I have ever seen and definitely the most cars, bikes and other vehicles.

It is a great atmosphere and it is so nice to see everyone enjoying themselves with picnics, taking rides in some vehicles and joining in with the dancing.

Here’s some other images from the day… https://www.flickr.com/photos/emmadurnford/albums/72157709345797016
