Oh dear, Park Run this morning and the first run in two weeks. I really notice the difference with in training and my time suffered with a 50 second slow down and I couldn’t quite get around in one go. Still, under 29 minutes.
After all my effort in trying to book a B&B using our M&S voucher last week, I called the hotel we had booked to give them my credit card details to secure the booking. In the event I had a rather strange phone call during which it appears that there is some type of fiddle going on either with the hotel or with the company operating this offer for M&S. In the event I had a frosty phone call and cancelled our stay. Not good new and the comments on TripAdvisor about the same hotel indicates many other shave had similar problems.
In the afternoon we went over to Chris’s house to collect some tools which he had borrowed. It was rather strange as we found out on Thursday that Chris and Mouse have split up but during our visit when Karen was also there, nothing at all was said apart from how the arrangements will work with Branston the dog. We also met Basil the kitten - he really is mad, I think he may have been the runt of the litter and possible oxygen starved at birth. He does not behave like a kitten but is really sweet.
