23rd September 2019

For the first time in a while I had a meeting this morning at Orleans House to discuss whether they would be interested in stocking my greeting cards and also the possibility of having a stand at their Christmas shopping weekend at the end of November.

It was a bit difficult to get in as it turns our that it is actually closed on Mondays so I had to tap on the shop door to get in! The meeting went well and from the end of October I will be supplying 8 Christmas card designs and also initially four general cards to be added to in the Spring with another eleven designs. I’m really pleased as worksite it has not been a good year at all with losing Bentalls and with Waterstones in Kingston being refurbished for the past nine months.

Afterwards I headed to Richmond and then Twickenham to deliver the cards which I made up yesterday. Sadly Sophie was not in the Richmond branch so I id not get a chance to say goodbye. However, I had a good chat with Marion in Twickenham who told me that Kingston Waterstones will be opening in the next couple of weeks and also gave me an idea of who to contact re putting my spinner back in the shop. Back for lunch and then out to my final delivery point in Teddington in between the showers.
