5th December 2019

It was my friends birthday today and we had planned a day up town at an exhibition with lunch on me. However, South West Trains which are currently on strike had different ideas and in the end I rushed to get a bus into Kingston and then another bus into Wimbledon, managing to meet Sarah on route in Raynes Park. We decided it was easier to change plans instead so we took the District line to South Kensington and enjoyed a fascinating exhibitions all about the development of the car - with a beautiful Jaguar E type (the one owner by Prince Charles) in my favourite cornflower blue at the entrance. This is Sarah next to the ‘blingiest’ car there was, hand sprayed in stripes.

We enjoyed lunch in the beautiful cafe and even squeezed in a jog around a small photo exhibition on our way out. It was a lovely day and so nice to spend it together on her birthday. The trains were running on the way back so I even managed to get home easily!

Final evening of tickets sales at Photo club this evening and it was a great night with talks by four members - they did really well and I sold some more tickets.
