Hooray, the scaffolding next door is starting to come down although the men are nowhere as careful as the guys that have been working on the extension for the past four months. They double parked their lorry for over three hours which meant I had to reverse the entire length of the Crescent and when I drove back later I had to do an emergency stop as one was reversing fast the wrong way down the Crescent just as I was pulling in.

I drove out in the morning over to my friend Steph’s house for a pre-holiday trim - we are going to Malaga and Ronda for a few days at the beginning of February for my birthday courtesy of Colin which I am looking forward to. This is the adorable Chester, a Yorkshire terrier puppy who is very friendly and just wants to play all the time.

Next stop was Sainsbury’s as we have not done a very big shop for months and I am tired of having to shop almost daily. I parked the far side of the car park near to a police car in the hope that nobody else would park next to me and it seemed to work although it was a bit of a trek afterwards with the trolley which had a wheel ‘inclination’! I used the new zapper to scan the food items which takes longer but avoids stress at the tills as I was on my own as Colin was keeping an eye on the scaffolders! In the event it took me nearly two hours of shopping.

Later in the day I headed over to Kew for my first photo club of the year which was not that good but it was nice to see all of my friends again.

Positive: My hair looks great (it won’t tomorrow when I have to blow dry it!)
