30th April 2020

Day 38 of lock down.

Today I spent most of my time working with the new software. Theres a lot to master. I had some time out and knocked up the second Victoria sponge cake of our lock down. I also continued sorting out our cancellations of our trip around Spain as I received an email from British airways so fingers crossed that is sorting itself out now.

There were incredibly heavy showers this afternoon which gave rise to a stunning double rainbow in the later afternoon. Will there ever be light at the end of the rainbow for us all?

Fish and scampi with peas and new potatoes this evening for dinner.

It is Thursday (apparently) so it is my Zoom photo club meeting and it was competition night with an external judge. I had entered two images both from the London Fog art installation at the Tate Modern a few years ago. I was pleased with an 8 and 8.5/10.

26,711 PHE total dead in the UK (up 674 overall)

Beautiful rainbows
